 My story
Of the three daughters of Soun Tendo, Nabiki was the one who loved money above all else.
He was an upstart and a scammer, and her purely materialistic mentality wasn't very nice to her classmates.
Looking back now even she laughs, saying that in those days she couldn't think of anything else that the way to become the richest girl of Japan... a project destined to remain unfinished due to the birth of her daughter, Sakura Honami Tendo.
Sakura was a beautiful girl with black hair and Brown eyes like those of her young mother, who had given two names. The first (Sakura) was the name that her father would have wanted to give to Nabiki, and the second (Honami) was the one to Nabiki would have liked to have.
At that time, Nabiki was only 18 years old, she was little more than a girl, and have had a baby girl had changed radically her existence. Her mind is placed a lot of problems, sometimes unnecessary, and she felt different from her peers, who spoke of parties and of boys, and she knew that this difference would last forever.
But now Nabiki had taken her decision, and would never return back... give it meant abandoning the little Sakura, and Nabiki could never live with a similar sin.
The years passed and Sakura had learned to say mom, to walk, to the whims, for cycling and, finally, had started to go to school.
It was more or less then that Nabiki decided to go to live alone.
She was tired of Tokyo, a metropolis in which a young psychologist as she could expect only to become the secretary or the assistant to some more wealthy colleague... is not for this thatshe had made so many sacrifices.
It wasn't the life she wanted.
Then, she decides to go to seek fortune in a small town in Aomori Prefecture: Takashima City.
The choice of Nabiki wasn't accidental: a few years before she and her sisters had shied away from an old aunt a country house. was reduced so bad that none of her two sisters wanted it "Is still standing because it has dried paint!" said Kasumi, but Nabiki decided to restore the house... to sell to the highest bidder!
However, once the works were completed, she liked a bit the new house, and she decided to keep it for herself.
The idea of moving don't like to her family, but Nabiki was 26 years old, and she was free to do whatever she wanted.
The beginning of her new adventure wasn't at all easy, but after the fateful sweaty seven shirts she could open a study. Nabiki loved her job, and help people to overcome their fears made her feel useful.
Some years later she was hired by the Department of police of Takashima to help investigators to capture a dangerous serial killer who had targeted the police officers, killing four before being arrested.
It was thanks to Nabiki's help if Sentaro Morita and Lieutenant Maname Itou managed to capture him.
The relationship between Nabiki and Sentaro was begun during investigations. She almost immediately fell in love with him, but Sentaro was too shy to declare himself...
So touched to her to make the first step.
Sentaro was the right man for Nabiki.
He was a good man, caring and sensitive, which sometimes resembled her father, Soun.
Nabiki has had many other stories before, but none of her former boyfriends had shown much affection for her daughter.
Yes. Sentaro was the right man, and she was safe of it.
That was the happiest time for Nabiki.
Working with Ukyo, her best friend, things were going well at home and, sooner or later, she would be married and her child would finally had a father.
What she could want more?
Maybe a life a little less hectic... |
